About Vouelle

The roots of Vouelle were planted years ago by two American friends living in Paris, Melissa Regan and Michelle Boor. Both worked in complimentary professional fields, fashion and finance, and had always encouraged each other's unique creative and managerial talents. When Melissa fell in love and married Julien de Vogele she realized the difficulties of finding the right pair of shoes and imagined that she was not alone. She and Julien then decided to align with Michelle to create a couture bridal shoe collection so no bride would have to live the same experience. As the doors opened up before them in Italy, to work with the best manufacturers in the world, Vouelle was born. After first launching a bridal collection in 2008 and working extensively as a team, expanding Vouelle to reach all women, not just brides, came as the natural next step. Today Vouelle offers two seasonal fashion forward shoe collections and an annual couture wedding line for the refined, edgy, and subtly sexy client. These include women from around the globe, not to mention royalty, women of politics and French and American actresses.

Michelle Boor
Michelle completed her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design in NYC before moving to Paris to study under Albert Elbaz at Guy Laroche. Thereafter she returned to NY to the take the helm as senior designer for women’s RTW at Theory. Four years later she returned to Paris to bring her creative ingenuity to Apostrophe, and also consulted for their sister company George Rech. After six years in Paris, Michelle is now Creative Director of Vouelle and based between Paris, Vienna, and NYC. Her talents, hailed by international fashion press, drive the design of Vouelle’s collections. She is also responsible for Vouelle’s visual identity.

Melissa Regan de Vogele
After studying economics and finance at Pacific Lutheran University, Melissa began her career in financial services, prior to obtaining her MBA from Pepperdine University. Her academics then brought her to France in 2002 where she completed her DESCM at Ecole Superieure de Commerce. After a career in finance between London and Paris, she founded Vouelle with her husband Julien in 2008. As CEO, Melissa manages the companies’ operational activity and Vouelle’s development, which is rapidly gaining prestige across the five continents.
